Dr. Morocho Jaramillo is originally from Ecuador and completed his PhD on Amazon Indigenous Architecture at the Universitat Politècnica de València (UPV), under the supervision of Prof. Camilla Mileto and Prof. Fernando Vegas.

We are delighted to warmly welcome Dr. Morocho Jaramillo to our community and our Unit Member.

He will be joining us for at least the next two years, during which he will continue his research on Indigenous Architecture. His work brings valuable perspectives on the knowledge, traditions, and spatial practices of Amazonian Indigenous communities.

We are excited and look forward to the conversations, collaborations, and inspiration that his research will undoubtedly bring.
